How does Bronko Box work?

Pick the package that fits your move, choose how long you need the boxes, and place your order online. We deliver clean, sturdy plastic boxes to your door — already assembled. You pack, move, and unpack, then we come pick the boxes back up. No flattening, no recycling runs.

How long can I keep the boxes?

As long as you need. You pay a base price for the first week, then a flat weekly rate for each additional week — keep the boxes for two weeks, a month, or longer. Just choose your length at checkout, and reach out anytime if your move runs long.

How many boxes will I need?

Our pre-built packages are sized by home or business — from a studio up to a 4-bedroom home, and from a startup up to a 40-person office. If you fall in between, you can add individual boxes, wardrobe boxes, and moving wheels à la carte.

Do I need to order a whole package?

No! While our pre-built packages make it easy to choose the right number of boxes for your move, you don't have to order a full package. You can order individual Large or Extra Large Bronko Boxes, Wardrobe Boxes, moving wheels, and other add-ons à la carte. This is perfect if you only need a few boxes or want to customize your order to fit your move.

How do I pay, and what stays on file?

You check out online by credit card. Your card information is kept on file for the length of the rental agreement, stored and processed under PCI DSS standards, so any fees described in the Terms and Conditions can be charged. See the Privacy Policy for how personal information is handled.

What is your refund policy?

All refunds are at the sole discretion of the owner of Bronko Box LLC (Terms and Conditions, section 7).

Do you deliver and pick up?

Yes — we deliver to your door and pick up when you're done. Delivery & pickup is free in our Austin zone on orders of $99+; nearby areas have a flat delivery fee shown at checkout. We'll coordinate a drop-off window, then collect the boxes and moving wheels from the same address (or a new one, if you've moved).

How much does delivery and pickup cost?

Orders of $99 or more inside our Austin delivery zone include one free delivery and pickup. Other areas pay a flat delivery and pickup fee based on ZIP code, shown at checkout before you pay. An additional delivery or pickup appointment is $25.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Austin and nearby communities, including Austin, Round Rock, Kyle, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Buda, Leander, Georgetown, Hutto, Manor, San Marcos, Dripping Springs, Hays & Caldwell County, East of Austin. Our current service area is roughly a 25-mile radius of downtown Austin (78701). Enter your ZIP code on our site to confirm delivery to your address and see the fee.

Do I need to be home for delivery and pickup?

No, but you must be reachable by phone. If we can't reach you and can't identify the delivery location, a $25 Missed Delivery Fee applies and delivery is rescheduled for the next available day. If we can't reach you and can't find the equipment at pickup, you're charged an additional week of rental plus a $25 Missed Pickup Fee.

What if I need the boxes longer than planned?

Call us before your pickup date and we'll extend the rental. Each additional week is billed at your package's flat weekly rate. If the boxes aren't available for pickup within the agreed rental period, you're charged an additional week plus a $25 Missed Pickup Fee.

Can I reschedule or cancel an order?

Yes. Rescheduling a delivery or pickup, or cancelling, needs 24 hours' notice. Without it, a $25 Rescheduling or Cancellation Fee applies.

What size are the boxes?

Bronko Boxes come in a few different sizes to handle everything from everyday household items to bulky belongings and hanging clothes. Our reusable moving boxes are sturdy, stackable, and designed to make packing and moving easier.

Large Bronko Box: 27" L × 17¾" W × 12½" H — 3 cu ft Our most popular, all-purpose moving box. Great for kitchen items, books, clothes, toys, office supplies, and most household belongings.

Extra Large Bronko Box: 28" L × 20⅝" W × 15⅝" H — 4.5 cu ft Ideal for larger and bulkier items such as bedding, linens, pillows, larger kitchen items, and lightweight household goods.

Wardrobe Box: 24" W × 48" H × 20" D Designed for hanging clothes so you can move garments directly from your closet without folding, packing, or wrinkling them.

Are the boxes clean and sanitized?

Yes. Every box is cleaned and sanitized between rentals — wiped down and cleared of dust and dirt so it arrives fresh. They're made of durable plastic, so there are no pests and none of the mystery stains you'd find on used cardboard.

Why rent plastic boxes instead of buying cardboard?

Plastic boxes are stronger, stack better, and protect your belongings far better than cardboard. Bronko Box estimates each box is reused 400+ times (the founders' own estimate), so your move keeps boxes out of the landfill — and you skip the cost and hassle of buying, taping, and disposing of cardboard.

How many times is each box reused?

Bronko Box estimates each plastic box can be reused 400 times or more. That is the founders' own low estimate from press interviews (Austin Monthly, Bloomberg Businessweek); they put a standard cardboard box at about 2.5 uses. Both are estimates, not lab tests.

What if a box is lost or damaged?

Ordinary wear and tear is fine. Destroyed, damaged, lost or stolen equipment is charged at replacement rates: Large box $35 each, Extra Large box $50 each, Wardrobe box $55 each, 4-wheel dolly $75 each.

Is Bronko Box a moving company?

No. Bronko Box rents reusable plastic moving boxes and moving wheels. We deliver them and pick them up, but we don't load trucks or move furniture. Most customers pair the boxes with a moving company, a rental truck, or help from friends.
